Channel drains are a prefabricated linear drainage solution that can be installed on a driveway, patio, pool deck, garden, walkway, parking lot, or garage. Channel drains collect and remove runoff over large areas and operate like a gutter for paved surfaces. Channel drains are made from metal, plastic, or polypropylene and often feature a grate cover that can be removed for cleaning.
Channel drains come in three load recommendations:
- Class A is used for pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
- Class B is used for car and light truck traffic.
- Class C is used for delivery truck and tractor traffic
Water channel drains are installed by digging a trench to fit your installation. Seattle Rockeries offers a variety of sizes and shapes including slim and mini channels. The channel drain is fitted into the ditch and filled in with concrete or a paver.
