Seattle Rockeries creates usable space on sloped terrain by creating designs that utilize retaining walls, terraces, steps, decks, and other features. We build accessible planting beds and outdoor living spaces on sloped terrain. Terraced, graded areas can be paved and levels can be connected using stairs and pathways. Existing trees can be filled around and will add stability to the terrace and terrain.
Seattle Rockeries designs and builds with the support of fully qualified geotechnical engineers. Terracing involves a lot of planning, design, and construction. With this in mind, we integrate our projects with the communities we build in and build responsibly.
A crest is the highest point that a river or source of flowing water will reach during flooding or heavy rain. Seattle Rockeries' geotechnical engineers help us determine these points so we can build drainage systems that keep your foundation and feet dry in the harshest rainfall. Failure to build above the crest of drainage trenches, troughs, and channels can result in flooding and property damage.
